I envision the same thing except Julia wakes up the next morning thinking she is next to Barnabas but she feels a beard tickling her ear and the voice of Nickolas Blair says "Have some Madeira, my dear."

Now that would have been something to see.

Actually, the issue of Julia and Angelique's curse is already a huge quandry in and of itself because the curse states that anyone who loves Barnabas would die - not necessarily anyone that he loved. Julia's love for Barnabas is quite evident, so by rights she should have died. Trying to justify why she didn't has provoked many interesting debates through the years.

Even Angelique died from the curse she placed on Barnabas, but she actually said the words I love you to Barnabas.

So in regards to Julia. I always thought that perhaps the curse had no effect on Julia because she never actually came right out and told Barnabas I love you.

Just a theory.

Although the real reason was that Dan Curtis wasn't about to kill Grayson Hall's Julia character off the show . Sam Hall talked about that in one of the DVD's interviews.

i don't really get the whole barnabas/julia preoccupation.why isn't it o.k. for them just to be friends and colleagues?

Grayson Hall started that when she decided to play the character of Julia to be in love with Barnabas. So because of that interpretation they were never just friends and colleagues. It wasn't that simple.

Even Sam Hall in his interview on one of the DVD's stated that the only way to resolve the Barnabas/ Julia relationship was to kill her off. That there was no place to go with the storyline in regards to Barnabas as long as Julia was there.

Could you do one that doesn't have the effects?  (I'd try but don't think I have the patience)

How about this?

Grayson thinking: I can't believe Sam invited the entire cast and crew for dinner without telling me. And then he had the nerve to try flattery by telling me what a great cook I am. Great cook my behind.  That only applies when I've had time to prepare.

For me it was the scenes when Barnabas was trying to do Julia in. He was cruel in those scenes.

And did you ever notice that for some strange reason Julia always managed to let Barnabas back her into a corner or against the staircase in the old house.

A corner, with no way out, is not a good place to be when someone is trying to do you in.

Barnabas: Why is it that everytime I ask a lady if they'd like to join me for a bite they scream and faint dead away?

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments...

Now if I can figure out how to put those wonderful comments into my art instructor's mind.

He's a great teacher, but he's hard to please.

I'll know in two weeks what my grade is.

Again thanks everyone.

Here is a art class project we had to do.

We had to take a photograph and using Photoshop do something creative with the photo so it looked more like a painting instead of a photo.

Well I decided to do Quentin. Hope you all like it.

Thanks for the compliments everyone...

Ohmygod, that is beautiful!

Do you by any chance sell your work on ebay, FireRose? I ask because a friend bought a painting of Magda with a similar style that is to die for.

No I haven't sold anything on e-bay. But I might at some point and time. Although this one won't be. It's already been spoken for. A friend of my mother's saw it the day I finished it and had a total hissy fit over it.

that is very impressive firerose.what is the medium being used?

It's acrylic on canvas.
