House of/Night of Dark Shadows Restoration DVDs??

Greetings everyone:)

I keep hearing rumors about the restored version of the 2 DS movies coming to DVD, possibly this year... What are they waiting for HD? I don't want to go back to my grainy, incomplete VHS copies; I haven't owned a VCR in years.

Does anyone have the scoop?

Check out the NoDS & HoDS Restoration Website and scroll down the page a little to FEBRUARY 21ST, 2006: THE CURRENT STATE of the restoration/DVD release of HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS and NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS. THE GOOD NEWS AND THE BAD... Warner Bros owns both movies.
