Did anyone notice when Barnabas grabbed Cassandra today outside (when she was spying on Barnabas and Julia) that Cassandra/Angelique seemed to enjoy it a bit too much? Though she seems mostly out for revenge at this point in the series, I think, deep down, she's still deeply in love with him, but won't admit it. Any other thoughts on this?

Love and hate are virtually indistinguishable in our gal Angie! BTW, do you think she and Barney ever consummated their marriage?  :o

Maybe not in Collinwood but certainly there was fireworks in Martinique!

Towards the end of Cassandra's run, about mid August 1968 she gets Barnie to say he'll return to her if she lets Vicki off the hook w/ the dream curse. Nicholas won't hear of it and accuses Cass of being in love with Barnabas and that being the reason her curse won't work.

Oh I do think that she definetely still wants him! But at this point, with him knowing all about her, she would never trust him fully. It would take an awful lot for these two to ever trust each other again. ;)

I agree, Lindsey.  I don't think Angelique ever stops loving Barnabas, though there are times when she won't admit it, even to herself.  And at this point her need for revenge is so strong that it overrides all her other feelings, which only serves to make her even more dangerous.

She definetly loves Barnabas, and always will.  She probably likes it a little rough though, as you can tell by the way she sorta smiled at Barnabas when he grabbed her.

As for consummating their marriage.....with out a doubt...Collinwood, Martinique...... :-*
