Can a ghost of one universe make an appearance in another universe?

Yes. Ghosts transcend time, so they should be able to move sideways, so to speak, and appear to the people and places of a parallel time.
2 (18.2%)
No, ghosts are confined to their own universes where they lived and died, and cannot appear in any parallel universes.

I said yes just because it would be a hell of a big surprise, and things would be more interesting that way.

I picked no. I think it makes more sense if ghosts stay within their own universe.

For one example, the ghost of Josette in parallel time would likely be quite different than the one in real time (if she appeared), for the simple fact that she lived a different life (a happier one).

There are people who say what we call ghosts are really individuals bleeding over from other times or dimensions, I think.   If there's any kind of entity who can cross that boundary naturally, it would have be ghosts.     Though, it was one of the few nice moments I remember from PT when
Barnabas started communicating with PT Joshua, and Joshua was monumentally disturbed by Barnabas's being there, as if it was shockingly unnatural.
Then again, Joshua seemed to know what was going on, enough to be outraged, and how would he have known enough about parallel realities, unless ghosts were in contact with them somehow?   It wasn't exactly a hobby of living Joshua's.

I say no.  Dark Shadows loosely bases it's fictional creatures on other stuff (uhm . . what do you call a body of knowledge and myth?).
So ghosts are probably bound to and by certain things like unresolved problems, revenge, and magic.
So I think the ghosts are bound to there own dimension.

Also generally don't ghosts lack a comprehensive understanding of there world?
Don't they lack a certain will power to act on complex new information?

Still . . it could make a great fan fic story . . the lost ghost . . confused . . alone . . a ghost who possessed someone during a seyons (how is that spelled?) is scared and runs away to the parallel time room.
