That really seems weird.

To solve the mystery, just be mindful of your posts as well as the totals.  ;)

The link didn't work for me.

It doesn't?  Yikes, I don't know what to tell you because it works for me in IE and Netscape.  :-

Like Bette, Anthony George came to mind.  I think he'd be my first choice.

Did Joe and Maggie marry when they were in Wyndcliff?
Only in fan fiction.

I forgot to mention that Sam Hall did have them marrying, though not in the sanitarium, in his 1971 TV Guide article.  Here's the excerpt from "Here's What Really Happened to Barnabas & Co." that concerns Maggie and Joe:

Maggie Evans, who left Collinwood with Philip***, returned a year later a divorced woman. She moved into her father's cottage and began working at Wyndcliff, the private sanitarium. There she remet her former fiance, Joe Haskell. With her help, Joe managed to regain his sanity. He left the sanitarium with no memory of Angelique and the circumstances which had caused him to lose his mind. Joe and Maggie married. He returned to the Collins' fishing fleet. They lived happily in Collinsport.

***that should say Sebastian Shaw

Are you familiar with the article, Shadowsfan?  It's on the last MPI tape-- with a few changes such as the one above-- but if anybody is interested in reading it I'm sure it can be found online.

An event: Terry308? I believe is there (a b-day?)

Yes, August 5 is also Terry308's b.d.  It's just not entered into her profile, but it's on the private birthday list that Dom and I use to keep track of birthdays.

No.

....or, did Bobubas just want his off??

You would have to ask him, username Bobubas.

I am still a "Newbie" here, and I have been looking for polls and pictures with no success. :( How do I access them? ???

Sally,

The "new poll" icons are at the top of the board listings.  I just logged on as a Newbie to make sure and could access them with no problem.  If you wanted to test the feature, there's one on this [Testing] board right next to the "new topic" button you used to create this thread.  Please be sure to check out the Help section on creating polls first.

And if you mean archived pictures, we actually have a very extensive collection of images, articles, chat logs, etc. in our Members' Archives but those boards are closed at the present time.  Our conversion to this BB system isn't yet complete and MB has a to-do list like you would NOT believe!  :o

It refers to what occurs in tomorrow's episode as we watch them on DVD or video, Nelson.  The date that it originally aired-- December 16, 1968-- forever altered the lives of adolescents everywhere.  :P
the gentleman looks like "Mr. Jonathan" an undertaker.
Heh, heh!  Yes, the character is Mr. Jarrett and he contributes one of the funniest bloopers to the show.

Thank you for the countdown, MB!  :D

The following is an excerpt from the new book Making It on Broadway: Actors' Tales of Climbing to the Top by David Wienir and Jodie Langel and is the first quote featured in the review "And the Tony for pluck goes to ..." in today's LA Times Calendar section--

On always starting over:
"Once, I was out of a job and I was really scared because I couldn't pay the rent....I was cleaning the apartment, crying and feeling sorry for myself.... The game show 'Jeopardy!' was on [and] I heard my name. I looked up and I was the answer to a question. It was so ironic."

--DONNA MCKECHNIE

The book can be ordered from Amazon.  Don't forget your favorite DS sites when ordering books; just click on the Amazon banner on their pages before placing your order.

I can't remember too much because I've only been able to sit through that godawful movie once. I seem to remember lots of nudity and weird behavior. The only good thing about that movie was the wonderful close-up of the glorious Grayson.

Same here about only being able to see it once, ha ha!  Thanks for the info.  :)

Here's a hint:  J99's last name begins with a J.

LOL.  Logged members might find a little somethin' in her profile, too.  ;)

I love these!  They jogged my memory, too-- I remember those whole true story synopses in 16.

And call me easily entertained, but I found Selby's "secret date booK" hysterical.

Thank you for taking the time, CastleBee.  Somebody didn't like David Jay, hee hee.

{Duh, I didn't know End of the Road had an X rating.  Was it because of the abortion scene?  But I don't recall it being all that graphic.}
