Okay, we can't all continue to sit around here waiting for poor Connie to come up with yet another hysterical storyboard to entertain us. Time for the rest of us to contribute to the alleviation of the Holiday Doldrums.....so here's my 2 cents worth:
You've just pulled a DS character's name out of a very large brandy snifter, and now you have to get them a grab bag gift. (Consider yourself lucky that you get to pick the character yourself.) [smrtasy]
My character is..........NICHOLAS BLAIR!!
.....to whom I give a classic grey fedora hat like my grandpa used to wear, so I can toss that Tyrolean Travesty he wore to death onto the Yule log!!!
Who's next?

Well wouldn't you know it that the character I picked out was Cassandra Blair!
Now, I know exactly what Im giving her as a gift, A BRAND NEW WIG!!! Something that not only fits her but suits her face as well. Now, she can get rid of that thing that she wears on her head & Perhaps the skunks can use it as a nest for the Winter! ;-)
(Nice idea Rainey)

Bored is putting it mildly. I managed to watch an entire DVD set in a day and a half. Well, my draw was Victoria Winters. I went to Bloomies and bought her a brick red a-line dress with SLEEVES. It came complete with matching jacket, contrasting stripe scarf and a gold butterfly pin. I'm working on the shoes! Her clothes are, for the most part, boring.

I pulled Carl's name. I'm getting him a bag of tricks and practical jokes. YOU know...like, he'll be able to use the whoopy cushion on Edward, he can place the fake vomit on Judith's dressing table, etc.
Even though I didn't pull Quentin's name, I've still got a present for him. ;)

I pick Chris Jennings ,natch, and i'm getting him red plaid boxers ala talbots just because i have this thing
for boxers! oh nevermind!
jennifer
as good as Jim Plamer looked in his briefs he would have looked BETTER in Boxers!!
(am i dating myself here??

Okay . .as providence would have it. . i **did** draw Julia and from the grab bag i pulled out a green colored-glowing (bulb in the middle) shark on a stand. . .now what are we gonna do with that?? [/b]
-
Well, in keeping with other coincidences, I drew little Missy Stoddard. I think Dr. Laura's "Ten Stupid Things Women Do to Mess Up Their Lives" would be JUST the thing! I'm feeling extra generous, so I think I will throw in a copy of "The Rules" also!
-
What's this?! BETSY @#$%$#% DURKIN!?
I MUST stop Christmas from coming...

Remember one thing if you have a present for Donnie Brsicoe: watch out for splinters!

I believe I have picked Magda! and I shall find for her new petticoats along with a new more colorful flowing skirt... also gold loop earrings! I was lead to believe gypsies always wore large loop earrings... <g>

I chose Barnabas, that lucky SOB!
From me, he's getting an overnight experience he will never forget. I'll show him, once and for all, why sweet young thangs just don't have as much to give as older, more experienced women.
We'll start with a long, luxirious backrub, proceed into the bathtub for a scrub-n-soak, and. . .
The rest I'll leave up to your fevered imaginations!
Love, Robin

Whoa! Go get 'im Robin! LOL Look out Barn.
Need any help? Ya know, many's the time I've thought that boy needed straightening out. We could like, tie him up, and well...you know...whatever...
love,
CLC ;)

I think I'll pick Liz. I think I'll give her a cruise(one that has no sickness,of course!) The poor woman really needs a vacation, after dealing with everyone's problems all year long. It's a wonder she hasn't pulled all her hair out! Because when anyone has problems at Collinwood, they're HUGE! ;D

Lo and behold I've reached in and pulled out the name of Amanda Harris. Yes, Sheenasma, I said Amanda Harris. ;D
My gift to Ms. Harris is two-fold. First, a $100.00 gift certificate to Victoria's Secret. Secondly, I will offer my services in 'allowing' her to model for me whatever
item(s) she purchases with said certificate. ;) Bob

we all have have are fantasies Bob!!! (running from
the room screaming at the thought of HER!)
jennifer
the only plus of this "vacation" is NO AMANDA!
-
I've got some other gifts for people:
Count Petofi - A heart
Rachel - A brain
Carl - Courage
Reverend Trask - A one-way ticket to Kansas
:)
-
The name I've picked was that of David Collins. I'm giving him a basketball and a hoop. The boy could certainly use a healthy activity to occupy himself, since chasing ghosts with Amy did no-one any good. ;)
-
I have drawn Barnabas, he is getting a night time special appearance on Dr. Phil.
Tanis
-
Well, what do you know? I got the Bellboy in the TIGHT uniform (played by Brian Sturdivant)! Let's just say that when he brings my bags to my room, I'll be giving him a VERY generous tip...

When I pull my name out of the hat two stuck together. I got Willie and Mrs. J. and they are both getting Merry Maids. Taking care of those houses single handedly they both need a break.
Feeling very generous I am going to buy Barnabas some casual clothes. Wouldn't it be nice to see him in something other than a suit and tie.

:)
YIKES! Hey, I realize you wanted to stick with on OZ theme, but that's getting too close for comfort. I don't want him in the next state! If we're taking up a collection for a one-way ticket, how about Outer Mongolia?
Rhonda
-
(Rhonda opens her wad of paper)
"I HAVE JUDITH!"
(does the happy dance) ;D
Well... since I know what's coming up in the story, and who she is going to marry (gag me with a Punishment Book), I'm going to splurge and give Magda some gold coins for a Good Vibrations Voodoo Wand. ;)

And while you're at it, pick him up a good watch! He definetly can use one! ;-)

Barn without a suit and tie (at my place).

On reading this, I flashed to the scene in Pulp Fiction when Travolta and Jackson, having soiled their black suits, had on t-shirts and shorts! Somehow, I just can't picture Barney in that get up! Maybe, a nice cashmere sweater and Dockers though....

What a sexy picture of him! Where is this scene taken from? He sort of reminds me of Bramwell here, but Im not sure.

I TOLD you, the scene is from my place........
;D
P.S.-- Sorry about the previous post. I was about to reply and forgot that I was under my mom's name. Just to let you all know that my mom is not as dumb as she seems (no matter what people say).

Hi Cassandra...[wavey]
In as much as LAFB would like you to THINK it's Barnabas "at her place", I feel it is my duty to tell you the scene is from the movie, Seizure.
I don't run a house of ill repute here. (Well, not usually)

Actually, what a coincidence, I just saw that movie last night for the first time! And he does wear khakis in it. And looks realllly good in them too!

LOL! Oh come now Connie, be honest! (just kidding)
Actually I've never seen this movie and have heard alot of crummy reports on it, but hey, if J.F. looks this good in it I just might try to get a hold of it anyway! Thanks! ;-)

Well, you can have my copy. I started the movie and never finished it--it was that bad!

No one picked Roger, so I'll pick up the slack.
A remote keyless starter for his cool wheels.
(Remember that scene from early on, he's skipping from work to the mustang or vise-versa?)

Speaking of casual clothes for Barnabas I went shopping yesterday at Brewsters and picked up a several things I think he'd like. Some nice low riding jeans, a soft greenish plaid flannel shirt and a nice sheep skin rug he can stretch out on in front of the fireplace (with me of course).
-
I picked Sabrina Stuart.I'm going to buy her a years supply of make-up and compact from Maybelline to help her with her current looks.
Adra
-
I got my precious sugar darlin' Maggie, of course. Her present from me is a lifetime of kisses from yours truly. *swoons at the sight of his avatar*
-
I got Dr. Eric Lang. So I think I'll get him a voice activated tape recorder so he die a quicker and hopefully less painful--for the audience--death.
-
I drew Desmond. I got him a top of the line Kevlar vest.
-
This time I have Flora. I'm fixing her up with a publisher--not Pomagranate Press, though. [easter_evil]
-
I'm starting my 2014 Christmas shopping early, and (if I haven't misunderstood the rules) getting the guy Tate created by drawing him in 1897 a nice big loudspeaker/megaphone, because that's just the kind of guy I am. What kind that really is I'm not sure...
