I finished the first part and, yes, before it ends it departs quite a bit from the novel. But that's not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned. It may not be to everyone's taste (on IMDb people seem to either love it or hate it), but I loved every minute of what I've seen so far. Dracula gets all the best lines, which to me come off much more as clever than camp. And Claes Bang as Drac thoroughly dominates every scene he's in. And Dolly Wells as Sister Agatha is perfect casting against him because the Dracula/Sister Agatha Claes Bang/Dolly Wells dynamics are superb. I can hardly wait to see what happens next but the earliest that will be will be tomorrow night...
