as dawson i sometimes got the impression he was a dabbler and not truly evil, but he was a greedy bastard.......as blair he was evil incarnate.....but a charmer nontheless.... >:D

I personally think he pulls off wearing those hats as Nicky Blair so well.  I just love it when men are truly evil with clothes to match.  He strikes the right notes with his incantations and what nots.  He really puts Angelique in her place to boot!

I knew this day would come when there would be a Humbert Poll. This is really hard for me. Humbert is my fav actor on ds. I love all his characters. But If your going to make me pick..... I guess it would be Nicholas Blair when he first comes. I just totally love that gray suit and the hat and the charm that goes with it. And i love when Nicholas shows cassandraangelique who the boss is.

Oh Nicholas hands down. He was fantastic. I love when he was angry he didn't raise his voice but got sinisterly quiet.

And that suit and hat, and those gloves. Sharp, sharp, sharp!

Humbert was excellent in all his roles but my personal favorite HAA role was Nicholas Blair without a doubt. He was so evil, yet so smooth and charming. There was never a dull moment when Nicholas was on, that's for sure. ;)

That settles that.   I'd rather comment on which character I prefer, and that would be Evan Hanley.    It's great to see HAA playing a Nicholas Blair wanna-be, after playing Blair himself.    Pure evil isn't that interesting.  Humans with weaknesses are.
