DS ranked 9th on Monday:
Monday's Box OfficeOne thing I find fascinating - even more fascinating than when the 3rd and 8th films were only separated by $239,280 on May 30th - is that on Monday the 4th and 9th films were separated by only $153,108. But then, they are the same films even if they're in a bit of a different arrangement. And as they play longer in theaters, the amount of money they bring is inevitably going to decrease. But still, it's quite interesting how much closer they're getting, particularly when they've all been in release for different amounts of time.
But apart from that, once again for anyone who really is interested in seeing just how this year's films stack up when compared head-to-head, I've prepared and attached a list that compares them as of their 25th day*. (And once again, the first column is obviously the name of the film, the second column is the film's gross as of its 25th day, the third column in the date it hit its 25th day, and the final column is what the film brought in at the box office on its 25th day.)
(* MIB III is the only film that wouldn't otherwise be on the list that prior to its 25th day in release has grossed more than DS, so that's why it's included. And because
Snow White and the Huntsman is likely to overtake DS shortly, it's also included on the list.)
