The seminar, A Conversation with Dan Curtis, was a way to honor Curtis's 40 years in the entertainment industry. First, a 40-minute series of clips of Curtis's work was shown (CBS Golf Classics, DS, The Last Ride of the Dalton Gang, When Every Day was the Fourth of July, Trilogy of Terror, Melvin Purvis, G-Man, The Night Stalker, The Love Letter, Winds of War, War and Rememberance) followed by the moderator asking Curtis questions about his various projects, casting, how he became a director, whether he had a romantic streak, etc. Only three questions were taken from the audience. Lastly, KLS and Jim Pierson presented Curits with a copy of their new book
Produced and Directed by Dan Curtis. The evening ended with a reception in the museum's lobby.
