Nice job getting these pictures up, Midnite.
It's almost as good as having been there yourself!.... ;)!

Evil Raineypark. [wink2]
Also in the audience were David Selby, Jamison Selby, plus more original cast members. And from the new DS-- Jason Shaw, Jenna Dewan and Michael D. Roberts, and Mark Verheiden.
Many thanks to Joe, MsCriseyde, and victoriawinters! Am looking forward to the reports. :D

Hey guys.....[wavey]
Not up on the latest. What was this event, and when did it take place? Anyone happen to get any pictures of David or Jamison???

The seminar, A Conversation with Dan Curtis, was a way to honor Curtis's 40 years in the entertainment industry. First, a 40-minute series of clips of Curtis's work was shown (CBS Golf Classics, DS, The Last Ride of the Dalton Gang, When Every Day was the Fourth of July, Trilogy of Terror, Melvin Purvis, G-Man, The Night Stalker, The Love Letter, Winds of War, War and Rememberance) followed by the moderator asking Curtis questions about his various projects, casting, how he became a director, whether he had a romantic streak, etc. Only three questions were taken from the audience. Lastly, KLS and Jim Pierson presented Curits with a copy of their new book Produced and Directed by Dan Curtis. The evening ended with a reception in the museum's lobby.
victoriawinters took copious notes and many photographs (including pictures of the Selbys). I'm sure she will soon have those available. :)

It took place yesterday, April 22 at the Museum of Television & Radio in Beverly Hills.
I did chat with them but no photos were allowed at that point per MT&R rules. They left before we were given permission to start clicking. I was sad. It would have been a nice picture to have a family picture of them. They are a very nice family. I just adore his wife, she is a real sweetheart.
Just, so you don't despair, I will be on hand at the radio show David is doing in June, "Pack of Lies." Hopefully, there will be some photo ops then.
I will announce my report when I get it done in the next week or two or three. I have pages of unorganized notes to go through. Whew! I did not write over any of them while trying to write in the dark!

Aw....I would have been sad too. Would be really nice to see some family photos.
Looking forward to your report. I enjoyed that last one -- with the pictures where you'd left the house without the make-up. LOL !! (Ya looked pretty good to ME....don't NEED the make-up)
Didn't know who any of the people were at the event, but enjoyed reading it anyway! Your website is getting better and better - quite professional and nice looking.

PS Enjoy YOUR event reports too, ProfStokes. You guys should team up and go into business together or something. [grinb]

Funny you should mention that. We did do a joint page for ProfStokes' Tarrytown Diaries. It's fully hosted now as a subdomain (http://www.profstokes2002.victoriawinters.net/). We also worked together on a work project of mine. We are quite a team! ProfStokes is very easy to work with.
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement.

Zap2it.com has an account (http://tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve_main/1,1002,271|87752|1|,00.html) of the event (that briefly refers to the WB pilot).
(Is it just me, or does anyone else think it's about time Zap2it.com gets a new photo for DS - they seems to use that same 1841PT publicity shot every time they have an article in which the original DS is mentioned. ::))

Thanks MB! :D
I'm not big on reading. That was short and sweet - just the way I like it. I'm encouraged that DC is encouraged. I'm really glad you posted this link. :)
Oh, and thanks for the pic's Joe! What a treat! I am completely taken with Ivana. Finally, an Angelique I'll be able to love to hate. I hope she'll fulfill all my expectations.

Thanks to the generosity of the Museum of Television and Radio - not to mention the canny networking skills of VictoriaWinters - there are now some official photographs from the event up on the news page of www.collinwood.net :)
