RIP Conrad Bain
« on: January 16, 2013, 06:42:43 PM »
Best known for Diffrent Strokes and Maude, Conrad Bain appeared as the hotel clerk in the very first episode of DS. 2 1/2 years later he reprised the role and was killed by werewolf Chris Jennings.
Bain has passed on at age 89.

Sorry to hear of his passing.  On my commute home last night, the DC area news station, WTOP, also cited DS among Conrad's credits, though it understandably spent more time talking about Diff'rent Strokes.  It was nice to hear a DS nod.
