A few questions...
« on: July 11, 2002, 10:25:07 PM »
Hey all! I have a few questions after reading the Shadowgram update:

1. What is this show "Soap Talk" that some of the DS stars are going to be on on Monday? The channel, ABC SoapNet, is that common? I am not sure if we have it here and I would like to watch the show.

2. What exactly was the DS documentary about? What did it say that was so horrible and what did the cast say about it (they specifically mentioned KLS and Marie Wallace talking about it)?

Sorry so many questions, but does anyone happen to know of any of the answers? Thanks so much!

I don't know about the rest of the country, but "ABC Soap Net" is available on the cable system in the New York Metro area.

We get the Soap Channel here in Upstate NY on TimeWarner Cable so I will most definitely be taping the show.

I can't say for sure but I think the show is the one that Lisa Rinna host with the guy from OLTL.

SoapNet isn't that common and isn't usually on cable, digital, expanded, or cable. It's a relatively new channel--I believe it's only two or three years old.

Check with your local cable station to see if it's offered in your area.  Soap Talk on SoapNet is hosted by Lisa Rinna & Ty Treadway.  Unfortunately, we don't get it in my area but I'll find someone who tapes it somewhere. ;D ;D

Thanks everyone for replying. I checked all our channels and we, unfortunately, don't get it. I hope someone is able to watch it and tell us what our favorite stars said. (hint, hint  ;) )

I have often thought ABC or some major channel should do a Dark Shadows Reunion. Many t.v. shows have been doing this lately and it seems rather popular. I would think a DS Reunion would get the same popularity as well as attracting new viewers. It would be great if they could get most of the cast together, including Jonathan Frid and Alexandra Moltke and others who don't attend the Fests. They could show clips from the show and do interviews and such. Plus, it provides an opportunity for the fans who are unable to attend Festivals to see what the stars are like today.

Anyone with me on this?  :)

It's an excellent idea, Lindsey.

I could picture even the performers who shy away from the fests being willing to do one-on-one interviews, knowing they would only be asked about the show and not their private lives.

I guess everything hangs on Dan Curtis and his interest and willingness to be involved with such a thing.
