Fest 2005 Reports

the 1st images from the 2005 fest are on my website. kathy cody was a no show! the 1st nite(friday)featured 2 q+a sessions. 1st with lp/mw/dm and the 2nd with kls/jk. the hi-lite for me happened before the convention even began. i ran into james storm in my apt building. i live in hollywood 2 blocks form the hotel. he told me his son lives in my building. he isnt attending the festival due to scheduling conflicts but sends his best to everyone. he posed for a quick picture. more images on my webpage.

Nice to see the pictures!  That's really funny about James Storm - it presumably could have happened any time, so it's funny that just as the Fest is starting you meet him at your own apartment building!

mr. selby did not participate in the N.O.D.S. restoration panel for some reason. the only time he was on stage was during the radio play and no photography was allowed.

Selby was rehearsing for VENGEANCE AT COLLINWOOD when the NODS panel was on, so he couldn't join in, unfortunately.

Word is Kathy Cody had to have gallbladder surgery.  Also, Geoffrey Scott did not attend because his wife had just had an operation.  So strangely enough, neither of the two touted first-time guests was present, each because of medical emergencies. However, Jerry Lacy, Sy Tomashoff, and Robert Cobert did attend and they were delightful.  :)

I hope to post more about the Fest later this week, or by next weekend at most.  It was a wonderful weekend, and I'm grateful to have met so many of the cousins from this board for the first time (you know who you are).  ;)

He was on stage with everyone else following Nancy Barrett's performance on Sunday and photography was allowed.  :)

Sorry, deserted my post for a few days.  :D  The link in the first post is working now.  They're case sensitive, Joe; I simply changed the last part to all caps.  Where were you hiding, btw?  MB and I wondered why we never saw you.
