I recently discovered a Kickstarter campaign for a DS-inspired role playing game called Rosemont Bay. The project is fully funded with several days still to go to reach the strech goals. It sounds like a lot of fun, and if you follow the links there's description of the game being used to role play a scene in the Laura Phoenix story.

I found the Dark Shadows parody series Dank Shadows on youtube, and I really recommend it.
It's a hilarious DS parody, with most to the parts being done in drag with men playing the female roles and vice versa, mostly. The comedy is pretty raunchy,and there's a couple of mild scenes of nudity, just buttocks briefly shown, so it's not for everybody.
It's all done very lovingly though. These are people who really know their Dark Shadows. The early episodes are based on the first year with "Wicki"'s arrival and her meeting the strange and mysterious Bollins family. Roger's "wife" Scorch Burns Collins arrives to claim her son Gayvid.
Later episodes deal with Carnabas being released from his coffin, transgendered doctor Drulia Hottman investigating the "glampire" attacks, etc.
The acting while not Oscar worthy was a hoot imo. The actors were pretty good at doing those little nuances to really capture the cahracter, adn the period costumes and out of control wigs alone make it worht watching.

I remember reading somewhere ages ago that Lara Parker was working on a third DS novel, anybody have any info on that, is it still coming out, is there a tenative release date, anything?

Does anybody know anything about Lara Parker's upcoming DS novel? I'm desperate for any scraps of info, tenative release date, plot threads, anything!

Big Finish's front page has an add for The Wicked and The Dead, a audiobook starring Jerry Lacy and John Karlen. Judging by the gorgeous picture it's set in the 1897 time period with Gregory Trask and Carl Collins.
I believe that Lacy and Karlen are going to do another audio as well.
If anybody hasn't checked out Big Finish's audiobooks ( a story narrated by a lead DS character with a supposrting character voiced by a different DS actor) and their full cast audio plays I strongly recommend them.

Is there any chance of releasing Vengeance at Collinwood on cd ?
Return is now being sold on Amazon , and the new B ig Finish cds have sold well enough to plan a second season , so these cds are obviously at least profitable.
I just hate that I 've never had the chance to even hear it !
Please MPI release Vengeance at Collinwood on cd !
