To our (((Boston Cousins))), I truly hope and pray everyone is fine.
For anyone visiting Boston and/or running in Marathon...
PLEASE CHECK IN.
Dear God, this is reminiscent of when we all checked in after 9/11.
I can't take it....
Be well,
Patti

Hey Patti, I'm fine. We had to work today so I was in Cambridge, and I live in Medford, so all the chaos is happening miles away from me.
My prayers go out to the injured and their families.
And I pray for PEACE and HEALING.
hugs, Steve

Thanks for the check! Yes you're right about prayer.... MORE CHECK-INS PLEASE!

A woman who works in the same Y I do (in Wisconsin) ran the marathon, a long-time dream for her. She was 150 feet away from the blasts. Fortunately, she is fine - shaken up, but fine.

Prayers and thoughts go out to those hurt and killed in the Boston Marathon. I just read that
a 8 yr old boy lost his life. How sad :( Love Anne [easter_cry]

MB, I'm not liking that I don't see a response from you.
How about others from the area?
Also, here in Atlanta, there have been 'silent runs' to support our Bostonian Americans. I'm sure most cities had/will have such similar runs.
I had never heard of "Patriot's Day"; sorry it got screwed up :(
Love,
Patti

Thanks for your concern, Patti, but I don't live near Boston. Well, I live about 50 miles away. But I've been posting on other boards here on the forum, so I'm fine. [easter_wink]

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone up in the greater Boston area. I have such fond memories of visiting Boston over the years, first, with my family as a young kid, and, then, visiting my brother, when he was an undergraduate student at Boston College. Boston is such a beautiful city and the people of Boston are wonderful (even if they do root for the "Sox" up there!).
Take care all, your Garden State cousin,
Bob
