The other night I suddenly got this idea.  [a_xmas]

What do you think would happen if Barnabas discovered that Julia Hoffman was the reincarnation of Josette?

Current Talk '05 II / Who here has seen the WB pilot?
« on: November 29, 2005, 03:21:36 AM »
Hello everyone,

I am thirsting to hear as many views and opinions as I possibly can about the 2004 pilot. Could those here who were at the fest and watched it; write a post and let everyone who was not so fortunate to see it know what they thought of the show?

Current Talk '05 II / Episode #630

Oh boy, does the new Vicki look dumpy! In all of New York they couldn't find a more attractive actress? Why didn't they give the part to Jaclyn Smith? I know she tried out,(this is were she met Roger Davis), and Ms. Smith is a much better actress. Yuck, to the new Miss Winters.

Also wondering why Nicholas Blair didn't just use some witchcraft on Vicki to make her stop interfering, instead of bringing in someone else to deal with her. Seems that doing it yourself you'd be more assured of success.

Current Talk '05 II / Interest In New Dark Shadows
« on: September 10, 2005, 10:10:01 PM »
Looking over the numbers of replies to the different subjects in Current Talk I noticed the high numbers for the 1991 DVD, 122 at this time, and the 2004 pilot, 58. This shows that the number of people interested in a new Dark Shadows are pretty high. If a new show were to come out and of course have great writing, great acting, great sets, and great FX, the interest in everything Dark Shadows would go up. Don't you think?

Calendar Events / Announcements '04 II / OT - Vampire Book
« on: July 04, 2004, 06:17:06 AM »
Has anyone here read the book In the Dark by Melody Taylor? It is a vampire mystery, a very interesting read.

I thought I should give you a short bit about the book in case any of you were thinking about looking into it.

"In the Dark" is the story of a young girl named Jen who moves to Seattle, Washington to go to school after breaking up with her girlfriend. Shortly after the move, Jen becomes close friends with Kent, a 250 year old vampire. Kent offers to make Jen immortal, she accepts. After becoming a vampire Jen changes her name to Ian.

On a night when Kent is supposed to perform at a club, he is murdered, leaving Ian to run from the murderer. But where is she supposed to go? A vampire can't go to the police! While fleeing the scene she meets Sebastian, a vampire, who offers to help her.

Soon Ian finds herself living in a world of vampires she didn't know existed. Now Ian and Sebastian are working together to find out who killed Kent.

Here's the website for Barnes & Noble where you can order it if you are interested in buying the book.

Current Talk '04 I / Get The New Dark Shadows On the Air
« on: May 11, 2004, 06:59:51 AM »
Everyone needs to contact the WB! We need to show support for the New Dark Shadows!

Let them know that you want to see this show, that you are really interested in it. If they don't pick it up we may never see it. It could be a great show and we would be missing out.

Stop the negative thinking and act now!

Also check out www.barnabasundead.com it is a great site and also has ideas about telling the WB to pick up this show.
