Windcliff security being what it is, the kids have little problem fleeing the coop. The idea of getting as far away from Collinsport is a good one. Choosing to hide out in a crypt is not. Of course, they just happen to pick the crypt where Maggie's mystery date is based. The vampire doesn't see them but the kids are freaked. (What would have happened if one or both of the kids were bitten?) They find a body of an anonymous victim, so the vampire hasn't just been feeding on Maggie. And there was a vampire on the loose in 1840. Coincidence?
Julia isn't getting much cooperation from Daphne, so it's time to bring out the trusty medallion. Under hypnosis, Daphne reveals that a lot of stuff is going to happen and quickly. The green flag will get waved. Rose Cottage will be destroyed, Clue #5. Clue #6 is the murder. And the victim is Daphne. I can see her having knowledge of the first two but the idea that Daphne is aware of her impending murder is a bit odd.
