Carolyn becomes Gerard's next conquest, something I found more disturbing than what has happened to Hallie and David. This is where the shark really begins to jump for me.
Carolyn's behavior as Leticia is way out of character with the way that Leticia is depicted in 1840. I can only imagine what this Leticia did to please Gerard back then.
It's a field day for Nancy Barrett, as Carolyn gets to mouth off at Elizabeth, Sebastian and Julia. I am unclear if the second sight is something that Gerard awakened in her or if this is an aspect of Leticia manifesting itself. Sebastian is taken aback when Carolyn tells him that she knows that Elizabeth's horoscope is a lie. If she knows that, she should also have some idea of what's in store.
Julia is rather gullible in this episode. Elizabeth and Carolyn are both behaving way out of character and she doesn't pick up on why. She should have some clue
