LOL!! You got that right!  I don't think these people ever heard of the word "Thanksgiving"  It seems like "New Years Eve" should be their "official" Holiday.;-)

does anyone remember the scene where Lieutenant Forbes brings a plate of food to the hidden out Vicki at the under construction Collinwood ??  she she makes the remark or something like "I am famished" and proceeds to maybe eat a crumb or 2 as they talk. That is not exactly how i eat when famished  :@)  ...Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Connie, this is brilliant!  I'd like to share what popped into my depraved excuse for a brain when I looked at that image in the upper right hand corner of Quentin with mouth open and snifter ... somehow, I always knew that Q had to have his little drinkie, at EVERY moment of the day!!!!  he does look VERY relaxed in that shot (though if memory serves, that was one of those shows where the poor man was justifiably knackered after a long day chasing after the Hand of Count Petofi, or some other bogey).

I do think the nice scene from ca. Jan. 1967 of the family around the table (one of the last times they used the breakfast nook set?) would make a lovely centerpiece to a Thanksgiving montage.

But in all honesty, I'd rather look at Willie Loomis.  Though I can live without the bit of dismembered dead bird he's holding.

Great shot of Will, too.  I do love William H. Loomis, alcoholic scribbler.

Hi Steve...

Gotcha!  That's not Will Loomis.  It's a shot of Karlen in the movie Daughters of Darkness.
What can I say?  I cheated.  Had to use what I could come up with.  LOL  ::)
(Stopped short of using pictures of Selby eating chicken in The Girl In Blue).  A bit of a stretch...don't ya think??

That's not cheating; it's merely a little artistic license. You're entitled. ;)

The vampires were shown having little snacks now and again....

Do they even celebrate holidays on DS?

Nice Job Connie!

i seem to remember a certain sandwich with extra mustard during a discussion between Burke and the Sheriff - and don't forget the Good Professor's love affair with cheeze [and herbs of course!]

Happy Holly Daze to everyone!

Cheers,

The Holidays were always celebrated in Collinwood, although being a family secret... all holidays are celebrated in true Collins fashion, everyone meets in the drawing room, is greeted with the proper festive welcome, "Happy Thanksgivng" or "Merry Christmas" they share a toast... ;)
  All Celebrations are regarded thus...
It is a Collins Family tradition.

WISHING YOU ALL A VERY WARM AND FESTIVE
                     HAPPY THANKSGIVNG

I have never seen them celebrate any holiday on DS, which is a shame because I think it would have been nice to see some kind of family traditions shown around a holiday. But then again, they were lucky if they had "normal" Weddings & Funerals!!"

Actually.....since we have all this extra time on our hands....maybe we could prevail on you to do a montage of NON-DS work by our favorite people? Sounds delicious to me!

How do you capture the shots anyway? Is it with TIVO?
