DS Collins event-Tarrytown
« on: September 16, 2002, 06:19:20 PM »
I'm thinking about going to the Tarrytown event October 18-20, but my budget is tight.  Anyone have a room they'd like to split costs with?  I don't mind sleeping on the floor or in a tub, if that's what it takes.  I'm 42, married, male, and house trained!

That would be the Ed Lambese Halloweenathon. I have attended the past few years. The first year was fun but on the unorganized side. Last year was better, low key and I think due to 9/11, low attendance.
The area is gorgeous at that time of the year and right down the street is Lyndhurst and sleepy hollow. I believe quite a few people from this board go and it is nice to meet and catch up.

Here is the URL to the site.  You may have to reload it once or twice to get the site to come up. AOL is not the best of Host. :-)
I know from speaking to one of the hotel reps that only a few rooms remain for that weekend, so if you are contemplating attending I suggest you make a reservation a.s.a.p. Special rates for the weekend are $129.00 a night, which is really a discount if you take the time to check out other hotels in the area.   ;-)  Bob

I attended last year and I really enjoyed it.  A lot of fun.  Low key but that was nice.  The area was beautiful.  If I didn't have to work I would go again this year.
