[bawling2]
Complete this phrase: "Daphne was on the verge of tears when Barnabas bullied her into admitting...!!"
-
"Daphne was on the verge of tears when Barnabas bullied her into admitting that the braid on her head wasn't her real hair!!"
-
([snow_laugh] LOL, MB!)
-
That she was responsible for Daphne's Cartoon Castle.
-
[laughing4] Good one!! [cheers]
-
([snow_laugh] LOL, MB!)
Thanks. [snow_smiley]
-
that she was a ghost in the future and then alive again then dead again then fighting crime for an answering machine
-
[pointing-up] Too funny!! [cheers] [easter_wink] [easter_grin]
-
That she was the ghost in the Invisible Bikini. 👙
-
([pointing-up] Can you even imagine if DS had ever done a storyline like that?!)
-
With Buzz Hackett standing in for Eric Von Zipper. [easter_rolleyes]
-
([pointing-up] But of course!! [nodassent])
-
Let yourself go. Yell Geronimo!
-
([pointing-up] [laughing11])
-
Daphne is no Susan Hart but she could at least fill in for Piccolo Pupa. [easter_rolleyes] [easter_rolleyes]

Daphne is no Susan Hart but she could at least fill in for Piccolo Pupa. [easter_rolleyes] [easter_rolleyes]
(Most definitely!! Daphne could more than fill in for her!!)
(I have to confess that when I caught GitIB a few years ago, I had no idea who Piccolo Pupa even was. [idontknow] And even after I googled her, I still didn't remember her. Apparently she appeared/performed on TV shows that I never watched back in the day...)
-
Ah, Piccolo Pupa. Is she a musical instrument or is she an insect? I'm sure it will come as absolutely no surprise that i knew who she was. She appeared on the last season or so of The Danny Thomas Show. Danny and his wife ran into her on a trip to Italy and for some reason brought her back to the states. She was his protege, off and on the show. She never became that successful here but is still popular in Italy.
GITIB is one of my favorite 1960's movies for what i am sure is an obvious reason. Aside from NS, i also liked Quinn O'Hara a lot. We were Facebook friends until her recent passing.

Ah, Piccolo Pupa. Is she a musical instrument or is she an insect?
THAT IS the question!! [easter_huh]
-
If she appeared on DS, she could have been both.
-
([pointing-up] What a shame that didn't happen!! [easter_rolleyes])
-
A potential ripoff...er, adaptation of The Wasp Woman would have been quite interesting.
-
([pointing-up] Quite possibly!!)
-
Yet another challenge for Alex Stevens [easter_wink]
-
([pointing-up] He must have loved working on DS!! Sinatra movies must have paled by comparison!! [nodassent])
-
Mr. Stevens has quite an interesting imdb page. One section on acting. Another devoted to stunts. And his sole director credit on something called The Massage Parlor Murders.
-
([pointing-up] Hmmm - I wonder how well that movie would play on a double bill with Selby's Headless Body in Topless Bar? [b003])
-
In a way, I'm surprised that the festival programming hasn't offered a screening of the two films. [easter_evil]
-
([pointing-up] We can only hope that double bill is coming soon!! [nodassent] [supergrin])
-
Front row! Well, maybe. [easter_wink] [easter_wink]
-
([pointing-up] The Fest has shown Selby's Headless Body in Topless Bar, haven't they? I could swear they have...)
-
If they did, I somehow missed it. Shame on me if I did.
-
([pointing-up] Let's put it this way: I'm pretty sure it was listed on the Fest schedule - but whether or not it was actually shown may be another thing entirely because, as we know only too well, being on the schedule doesn't necessarily mean anything...)
-
It was shown at one of the west coast fests. I remember wondering how did David get talked into doing this movie...lol.
-
([pointing-up] I guess he saw something in it... Or there was someone involved with it that he wanted to work with...)
-
Some actors just want to work.
-
([pointing-up] And of course there's that, too.)
