Say what you will about Roger Davis but he went well out of his way to make sure every fan who wanted it had his autograph by walking the line
Cuz by then we'll probably be in the climax of the 1840 storyline.
I wouldn't have known on my own, but now that you mention it, I think you're right!
Christopher Pennock, who played Mitch Williams on the show from 1979-1980, was featured on the episode. Mitch was the adulterous husband of Tracy Quartermain.
I checked the Sci Fi site and no episodes will be skipped. They list episode #861 (#1087) on both the schedule for August 29thth & September 2nd. Weird.
Sci Fi is pre-empting DS during most of October...it's only airing on October 13th & October 20th - 30th, according to their online schedule. It's also being pre-empted on the 31st. Various daily marathons are airing in it's time slot during the rest of October.
I wonder just what Mr. Pierson means by the statement that events will continue to be held "if the support is there"?
On the heels of the announcement that this year's Festival broke all preceding attendance records (despite the difficulties many fans expressed with Labor Day weekend as a date), it would seem obvious that there's a real market for Dark Shadows conventions out there.
I wonder what format the Tarrytown Festival will take? I know there's no way that Lyndhurst could accommodate more than a fraction of the crowds the Festivals traditionally attact, though, if there's nice weather, fans could have fun outdoors on the grounds socializing and perhaps sharing picnic baskets. I'm assuming the main base of the event would be an area hotel, with the traditional day trip to Lyndhurst occupying at least one day's events.
Conflicting information seems to abound these days.
Well, I'll definitely check out the line in the Post.php script that's referenced in the new error, and we'll move on from there.
