Thomas Crown Affair/Addison Powell

Watched The Thomas Crown Affair last night and to my surprise (and yes 'delight' somewhat, lol) I saw Addison Powell aka Dr. Lang in the opening credits. I had to rewind to notice him. It's a 1968 release so it makes sense that he did this before his DS stint. Thankfully, he had but a few lines and not much screen time, though that might have been way more interesting so as to compare it to his Dr. Lang stint.

And by the way, saw Elizabeth Wilson (Miss/Mrs. Hopewell) in The Prisoner Of Second Avenue (Starring Jack Lemmon & Anne Bancroft) recently as well.

Always fun when DS alumni pop up unexpectedly.

I've seen AP in several films and in none of them does his acting resemble anything like his portrayal of Lang. As I've often said, I'm pretty sure most if not all of his histrionic antics as Lang were the ideas of the directors and not AP himself.  [ghost_nowink]
