SOAP VET TO PORT CHARLES

While this news is unconfirmed by the show, sources tell TV Guide Online that soap veteran Rebecca Staab has joined the cast of Port Charles. Staab, who made her daytime debut as Cecelia Thompson on Loving and appeared on Guiding Light, has starred in several films, including Love Potion No. 9 and Stray Bullet. Internet buzz says that Staab will play a maternal figure.


Staab appeared as Daphne Collins in episodes 1 & 2 of the '91 series, giving smoochies and love bites (!) to Michael T. Weiss (but I'm not bitter ;)).

Trying to think of who'll she'll play, Midnite
they have had a lot of supernatural themes!
hope she gives Livvie a good slap!

Another alum from the DS '91 revival series, Veronica Lauren (who played Sarah Collins) is now playing a teenager (Cynthia) on Days of our Lives.
