I find the whole Viagra ad campaign very amusing, primarily because the NASCAR driver I root for drives the Viagra car, though initially they sponsored another driver.
This is SO off-topic, but it's too funny not to tell. The driver that Viagra first sponsored was named, I kid you not, Mike Bliss. Adding to the fun, his car was owned by Eel River Racing. (Use your imagination . . .) So when Viagra first started sponsoring his car, some of the announcers just plain refused to refer to "the Viagra car." They called it "the Eel River Racing Pontiac," which just called even more attention to it.
When Viagra began sponsoring Mark Martin, they used to show only the car and a helmeted driver. He wouldn't do the ads, and he absolutely refuses to get on television and say he uses Viagra. I can see the man's point. He fathered 5 kids prior to the little blue pill going on the market, so things seem to be working fine.
The latest commercial has him saying that he knows a few things about making good moves because he makes them on the race track. Personally, I think he should say he knows a few things about making good moves because he has 5 kids.
And whenever that commercial Ringo was referring to comes on, I always feel compelled to fill in the blank. "Did you get a new haircut?"
No, you loser, I got lucky last night.
