Sharon Gless (Cagney & Lacey) Has Kind Words For Karlen

I just interviewed Sharon Gless RE: her new film Hannah Free (she plays a lesbian) & RE: the upcoming Cagney & Lacey box set of the 4 reunion movies they did.
The interview will appear in several gay publications.

Gless has kind words for Karlen. The first time they did a C & L scene together, Gless was having trouble with the scene.
Said Karlen of the scene: "We're just talkingI"
Gless said the he really put her at her ease and that his words were a great acting lesson!

Gless also referred to "Johnny" Karlen as "iconic".
Was that a DS reference, I wonder?
