Green for St. Patrick's Day
« on: March 17, 2003, 06:08:34 PM »
What a treat to have such a festive color for the boards!  Thank you :-*  Are there any other colors available for other holidays?  Just curious?

Green?  What green???

Just kidding, heheh.  Glad you like it.

I noticed that all but one person left the forums when the colors were changed.  I hope they didn't rush off to restart their computers, lol.

Are there any other colors available for other holidays?  Just curious?

Remember those color codes that MB posted on this board a while back?...  Anyway, would you believe they represent only a small portion of the colors available for website layouts?

Yep -- the green was quite a.....shock.  lol  (Especially when you're not awake yet).

Ya know what I've always wished?  That we had the ability to change the board colors at will -- I mean just for our own computer AND collapse the DS Forums logo.
Not that I don't love the grays, dusty rose and deep red - it's just about my favorite color combination.  It's just that if I could change the colors and collapse the logo, my husband wouldn't know I was on the computer doing Dark Shadows stuff.  LOL

He can spot the board a mile away.

I never saw it.  I've been wondering what everyone's talking about!

The forum maroon and pink (or rust and brown or whatever-- they look different to me on different computers) turned two shades of green on Monday at 12 a.m. E.T. through 2 a.m. Tuesday.

If the colors don't look dark red and pink, then someone's monitor needs its color adjusted. ;) (Particularly the dark red because there's no other RGB (Red, Green, Blue) component in that color other than red.)

Hey, you try to convince a teenager that his computer needs adjusting. ;)

Oh, I can just imagine. [lol2] But whether or not said teenager is willing to accept it or not doesn't change the fact. [wink2]
