Important coffin Question
« on: December 18, 2002, 09:29:52 PM »
Uhh. . how does a fully lit candleabra get ontop of a coffin, if someone just got in it and no one else is around?  Is that a special vampire skill?

I've wondered about that too, darling.  I always waited, in vain, for a scene where the coffin lid slowly began opening with one of those marvelously prolonged creaking sound effects, followed abruptly by the crash of the candelabra clattering to the ground.  Cut to close-up of Barn peering over the lid and cursing "Oh, @#$&!"

Could be even funnier than that scene of Queen Victoria dropping the secret treaty at the beginning of "Young Sherlock Holmes" with Gene Wiilder.

I caught that too. But then when Jenny went down into the basement, the candleabra was gone.

Answer: ghosts.

I wonder which ghost residing in the Old House would do such a thing to Barnabas while he was in his coffin...   ;)
