And the linkage is.....

http://bboard.scifi.com/bboard/browse.cgi/1/1/1920

Which should be refreashing news to those suffering from withdrawals from the conclusion to Mark's "Labyrinth Of Souls"!  The prologue is written by none other than Mark who fought the perils of the Eastern Ice Storm and it's ensuing power outages to bring it to us!  So click over and enjoy!  And feel free to post responses!  Happy Holidays Everyone!!!!

What a great, spooky opening!

It truly is Christmas at Collinwood...
BARNABAS: Here at Collinwood, old hates don't die. They lie in wait for the innocent and unsuspecting...

QUENTIN: We're guaranteed to make you believe (spells) exist. Our entire family can be explained in no other way...

You must have been inspired by our wintry weather the other day. Very atmospheric beginning!

Actually, it was merely a foreshadowing of what we actually got. I wrote the prologue last week. Then on Thursday morning, we were getting ice and snow, but we still had electricity. I was in the process of posting it to the SFC board when POW. Electricity goes out. We've got four inches of ice, still no power at home, and probably won't get it back till mid next week. We came up to my mom's place since she's still got power; fortunately, the main roads are mostly passable. I had saved the prologue to my online storage site, so I was able to post it from here.

Now THIS boy has foresight!!
No power 'till next week?  That's horrible.  I can take just about anything except losing power.

By the way, thanks for all the snow.  It came from down YOUR way and through the Virginias.

Yeah!  What IS this stuff?  We got about 6-7 inches in central NJ.  Some of it's finally starting to melt.  (I can tell 'cause you can now see my little Buddha's head out in the corner of the yard).  It looks so funny when we get around half a foot of snow -- all you see is this HEAD sticking out of the snow.  ROFL

Well now, you see, that isn't a problem for Mark.  You know why?  Because REAL men don't USE hair dryers!
