Fandom has lost its sweetest and kindest, as darkshadowsrick passed away suddenly this weekend.  RIP my dear friend.

Afraid I didn't know Rick but looking at the picture, I see several friends and familiar faces. It's always sad when we lose one of us. For the regular Fest goers, things sort of evolved from excitement of meeting the DS alumni in person to seeing our Dark Shadow fan friends again. I really miss that. It's also hard to believe that it is going on 7 years since the last fest and this gathering was from nearly 20 years ago.  I still can't believe our club here just turned 30.... Yikes time flies. Thanks for posting the great pic Midnite.

I’m really very sorry to hear this sad news. My deepest condolences to his family.
I didn’t know him or never met the guy. But he shall be missed. Rest In The Peace of

I only knew him casually from the festivals but I am genuinely saddened to hear this

Like patrickm, I didn't know Rick and I agree that it's always sad when we lose one of us. And I also send heartfelt condolences to his family and friends...
