From Variety:

Film Review: ‘T2 Trainspotting

"It’s particularly good to see a still-peroxided Miller, rarely used to his best advantage these days, reminding the camera of his lithe, splintery star quality. That we feel we haven’t seen enough of him lately lends real poignancy to his reteaming with McGregor, who has been far less of a stranger to us."

Peroxided Miller appears in a photo atop the review, almost looking like DS '12's Roger on a bad day - but then it's hard to imagine the that his Roger ever had a good day...

PBS Newshour segment:

20 years later, the lads of ‘Trainspotting’ grapple with growing up

Features JLM in clips from the new film as well as the original. And, OMG, he looks so young in the original - but then he was only 23, maybe even 22 when it was shot, depending on how much time passed between production and release.

Not having seen the film yet, I can't help but wonder what is happening in this still?!

A decidedly different take on the film than the article above:

The Worst Films of 2017
Variety's chief film critics identify the 10 movies they considered to be an embarrassment for all involved.

(Check out #5 on "Owen Gleiberman’s 5 worst:")

But then, as we all know, the like or dislike of any given film is completely subjective...
