Both Jeb and Carolyn were fine with it when Liz came running down the stairs to announce that the only available minister for their wedding was Bob the Bartender, and he could fit them into his 8:50pm break if they hurried down to the Blue Whale right now!!

"taken back"  "she had apparently gotten hitched last night, during their drunken girl's night out bachelorette party, with whomever is sleeping upstairs in her bed"

 [pointing-up]  [laughing1]  I can definitely see how that would displease me!!  [nodassent]  But as a side note, as a Carly Simon fan, I've always really liked that song. In fact, back in the day I used to play her first LP (which contains that song) seemingly endlessly. (And now you've got me wanting to drag out all her LPs and play them again (particularly "Hotcakes," which is another big fave. "Haven't Got Time for the Pain" - pure perfection - and that arrangement at the end).)
