Given that TV watching is much more fragmented today than it was back then, when it comes to viewership at least,
Dracula doesn't have any chance at all to fare even as well as DS did back in '91. In fact, NBC would probably be thrilled if
Dracula even manages to capture half the viewing audience that watched DS. And they would certainly be thrilled if
Dracula grabbed the highest demos in its time period, the way that DS most often did.
Ironic also that it will most likely go up against Blue Bloods. LOL.
Yes! And what's also interesting with
Blue Bloods is that even though it's routinely the #1 show on Fridays, it doesn't even manage the viewership that DS had. So, it's going to be fascinating to see how things play out come September...
