Thanks for all your hard work! The archive is working beautifully for me now.  

Have IE 6.0, tried emptying the cache, doesn't do jack for me.

The Member's Gateway shows up when I am on the Home page, and I can click on any of the 5 topics without a problem. That takes me to the Members Archive index page.

The problem comes when I attempt to click on anything on that page, such as Screen Captures/Photos, for example. Then I get the big fat You are not allowed to access this section.

If the problem really is IE 6.0, then this is going to suck out loud. I realize you hate it, MB, but it's what a lot of people use.  

And let me add a rather shameless plug here.

For anyone who plans to buy the DVDs through Amazon.com, please consider doing so via the links on your favorite Dark Shadows web site. The price stays the same for you, but the webmaster will rack up a referral fee for the sale, which is always a good thing when it comes time to pay the bills for web space and domain names and overpriced graphics editing software.    Contrary to rumor, I don't get paid for my sites and neither do most webmasters of your favorite DS sites.

All of my sites are part of the Amazon.com Associates Program, and I know Stuart's Dark Shadows Journal Online is as well. There are other DS sites that also participate.

And on the subject of MPI, for anyone who's not seen me rant about this before, they also have a referral program; however, they have conveniently excluded the Dark Shadows DVDs from it by redirecting visitors to a separate DVD site. So, if you buy the Dark Shadows DVDs via a link on someone's site, be aware that the webmaster isn't getting jack for sending you to MPI.

Their remedy for this little loophole is to advise webmasters to direct people elsewhere if they wish to earn referral fees for the DVDs. Consider yourselves directed.

Of course, I still think that your birthday in Hartford in 2000 was the best. It was good for me, anyway.  

Ok. Here's the story. I had this stash of photos from the 2001 Dark Shadows Festival from NancyMck that I've been rather slow to upload. I won't bore you with the reasons why, though some of them aren't too hard to guess.

Well . . . There wasn't a whole lot said that hasn't been said elsewhere by the actors. It seems that the main point of the segment was to plug the DVD set and to make the actors sit through various blooper segments to see how they would react. Naturally, they laughed.

They mentioned Lara's, Kathryn's, and David's books, and talked about the Fests. KLS mentioned that the next one would be in New York. Actually, I was surprised by how little she said during this segment since she usually gets turned to as the resident expert on the show's history in these cast reunion segments.

There was pretty much no mention of what the actors have done since the show (other than the books) and little discussion of individual actors, though Karlen did take a few moments to mention that Dennis Patrick was better than he was at cracking up actors during a scene. Karlen said when he played a scene with Patrick that he had to bite the inside of his mouth so hard that it bled.
