I have actually heard you can download the pilot on some of these media share sites. I am thinking about looking it up!
the short, blonde haired Victoria would have taken QUITE A BIT of getting used to.
Was this our first look at the Collinwood attic?
My take is that although Cyrus' intent was to bring out all that was good in humans, in the process of separating the two in himself, his evil side established a stronghold and perhaps it was out of Yaeger's desire for self-preservation that the evil in Cyrus won't allow him to halt the transformations.
Will the girlie screaming never stop??!
in Eagle Hill Cemetery (which is probably named Blue Whale Hill Cemetery in parallel time)
Bruno to Angelexis: "I never thought I could be fooled so easily."
Well, I'm sure everyone on this board wasn't the least bit surprised.
Angelexis to Quentin: "When I heard that you had married again, I was quite surprised."
Good fake by Angelique, because I'm sure that learning about Quentin's remarriage made her quite pissed.
I know the voiceovers are being used to explain Barnabas' absence, but lately they seem to be saying that Barnabas would be fighting the evil happenings if he could (but he can't, so he isn't), and that makes me wonder why we're supposed to assume that Barnabas would want to save these dysfunctional strangers, especially after what one of them (Will) did to him.
Well it looks as if HODS is winding up somewhat since Daniel and Roger is coming back
It's unfortunate that Yaeger came across as clownish. However, Eis managed to make Buffie's desperation and dismay feel real to me, but I think in order for viewers to sense that connection between them, both characters needed to be believable, and sadly that just wasn't the case.
Were they not afraid that the forest around the cemetery going up in smoke. I could see it, police officer I know that we started a forest fire, but I had to burn my wife body.
I have to say too that Lara Parker was outstanding in this episode. She did a wonderful job playing duel roles
and wasn't it simply squishy when she came back as Angelique?
As for Cyrus... Cyrus, Cyrus, Cyrus.... If I had the opportunity to work at home, I would be wearing my pajamas., certainly not a three-piece suit and a doctor's lab coat over all.
Cyrus to Chris: "John Yaeger is an acquaintance of mine I met recently and he's going to help me in my new experiment."
Yaeger is an old friend, he's a new friend, he's just a test subject. He can't seem to keep the story straight.
And how about what Nicholas told Megan during the Leviathans storyline?: "Burning a corpse merely disposes of a body; the spirit of that body cannot be burned." The same writer who gave us that line (Gordon Russell), btw, also wrote this episode.
DarkShadowsOnline.com has this to say about Don Briscoe:QuoteIn his final episode, which aired in early 1970, he was clearly unwell.Except for the fact that he only had 1 scene, I don't see signs of unwellness. What am I supposed to be looking for?
Was Dameon really trying to warn Quentin here about Angelique? Had his ghost not haunted the house at all, I can't imagine that Quentin would have wanted to open his wife's tomb, so it would seem that Dameon paved the way for Angelique's return. No?
I think the reason Angelique pushed to have it burned as soon as possible was that it would decompose normally, and that would definitely arouse the suspicions of Quentin and Cyrus.
My impression is that Angelique did in some way call to Alexis, whether consciously or not. We hear something about it when Alexis first arrives at Collinwood. Episode 985
Interesting. It didn't occur to me that her feeling could be more than "twin telepathy."
I was also thinking: "This is the very same Quentin that we saw in 1897 when he was so conniving and manipulative." It was hard to believe.
Pity she didn't get to work with the Capitol One Vikings
