When I saw this screen cap from this ep -
- as I was responding to posts on the "Caption This! - Vicki's Arrival-Burke's Revenge-Matthew Morgan-Introducing Josette" board today it suddenly hit me that throughout all this time, as well as throughout all her future time on the show, Vicki slept in Josette's bed at Collinwood. Though no one referenced it even once even as Vicki became more and more obsessed with Josette. Though, of course, prior to the 1795/96 storyline the show had yet to use Vicki's room/bed as Josette's room/bed at Collinwood, so it's no surprise it wasn't referenced before 1795/96. And after the 1795/96 storyline Vicki's Josette obsession completely disappeared as if it had never been, so there was no longer any reason to mention it. But in the grand scheme of things, given Vicki's one time obsession with Josette, it's just a weird thing that took place on the show. And actually, had it been known before the 1795/96 storyline that the room at Collinwood had been Josette's, it may have easily lessened, if not completely eliminated, Vicki's attraction to Josette's room at the Old House and her excitement at having spent a night in there, both of which were played up as big things on the show. So, in that way it's probably better that it wasn't known prior to the 1795/96 storyline...
