New Covers For Angelique's Descent And The Salem Branch

If you've watched the videos from NYCC (in the Depp/Burton film topic), you know that Lara Parker's previous DS books are going to be reissued with new covers. And not surprisingly, Amazon now has those new covers on display. Well, presumably anyway, because we know how oftentimes the covers on Amazon don't actually end up being the final covers. But for what it's worth, check out:

OT wonder if MPI will also attempt to get in on profiting from the movie. btw MPI never put those DS Jackets they sold at the Fest on its website. Interesting.

Hmmm. That's odd. I wonder why?  

But getting back to the books, I forgot to mention how seemingly strange it is that Amazon is selling Angelique's Descent for 28 cents cheaper than The Salem Branch. And it certainly isn't because it's a smaller book because AD has more pages than TSB. Not to mention the list price for TSB is $2 cheaper...

That is odd indeed because they were selling like pancakes at the Fest. In addition it is a well made jacket. Perhaps MPI never officially received permission from TPTB to sell them?
