Ot Tragic News

I know a few of you knew I missed last years fest in California for a family wedding. My dear friend Emmily who was just like a sister to me got married during the fest so I opted to go to that. Last night we received a call that she was in a serious car accident and had suffered cardiac arrest,brain damage and was on life support. Tonight I received a call that they will remove her from life support tomorrow. She has no brain activity and cannot breath on her own. I am devestated by this and cannot imagine life without her. She and her husband had just bought their first home together a few weeks ago. Please pray for her family and friends and please tell the people in your life how much you love them. I emailed her the night before I left for the fest and told her about my trip and signed off "Love Ya" I wish I had the chance to hug and and tell her to her face.

My deepest sympathies to you and her family.  It's moments like this that you wonder why some good people leave so soon and some really evil people seem to go on and on.......

I'm so sorry to here about Emmily.  I remember that you missed the fest last year to attend her wedding.  I hope the healing for all of you begins soon, and your fond memories of her are a comfort.  Hugs and Prayers to you.

Thank you so much for all your prayers. As of 30 minutes ago Emmily was breathing on her own dispite what the doctors told her parents would happen. I know miracles can happen but we do not want to get our hopes up. Even though I do not want her to go I also do not want her to live her life in a nursing home and not able to respond to people. You always think people die right away after being removed from life support but apparently that is not so.
Please continue your prayers and I will keep you up to date.

lets hope they are wrong maybe she'll be one of the lucky ones i'll pray for her also
