Though I still find it questionable, the advice of the hospital shrink to allow Sabrina to relive the first seance proved golden because she came out of it knowing there were two seances.  Now she wants to apologize to Quentin for what she put him through that night, yet it doesn't occur to her to apologize to Alexis.

Wouldn't the more believable statement have been, "You didn't pay for your sherry!"?

I agree with the comments that Cyrus cares for Sabrina.  Taking it further, I just don't believe that he loved her because Pennock doesn't play it that way.  For example, if he loved her, he wouldn't have pushed her to talk about the attack just so he could learn more about the night he can't remember.  But I'm not sure that he loved Angelique either.  I think Cyrus loves mysteries-- scientific or otherworldly; either kind works for him.

Angelique had an autopsy??!  Hmm, now does that make sense in light of future events?

There was so much to be learned, or speculated, from the conversations between Cyrus and Sabrina!  The writers managed to make the connection between the taking of Sabrina's engagement ring and the necessity of re-creating the séance a little more plausible when Sabrina said that Cyrus's interest in separating good and evil was encouraged, if not initiated, by Angelique.  And I think Sabrina may have been the first person we've seen so far to say out loud that Angelique was not sheer perfection in every way, although of course it has been implied by many people.

Bruno mentioned in #985 that Angelique got Cyrus started on the experiments.  (He also said that Angelique thought the experiments were feasible, which makes me wonder if she first conceived the idea too.)  But finally hearing about Angelique's cruelty was enjoyable, and wow, even her own son was a target of her abuse!

There was a point at which the camera was looking at Sabrina but we were listening to the argument between Quentin and Cyrus over the séance.  Suddenly Cyrus's voice became more heated, but we never knew why.  Quentin - David Selby - must have done something to cause it, and I wonder what it was.

Or Cyrus is highly excitable?

Well, Quentin's pants tent quite often. Am I  the only one that notices this?

Ken McMillan (who was listed in the closing credits) must have been described in the DS Rolodex under Good for giving much-needed exposition in a bar.

IMHO, the announcer was a local New York guy who announced upcoming programming or what not.

Lisa Richards annoys the hell out of me here.  Her RT counterpart was also capable of stubbornness and incredible persistence, but PT Sabrina's attempts to force the seance just come across as crazy-mad.  And what decent psychiatrist would encourage a victim of a recent physical assault to relive the 6-month-old trauma of watching somebody die, and without even being present himself, or think that doing so would be the least bit therapeutic?

Roger:  "Why does she insist upon the seance?"
Cyrus:  "Evil. Moments of evil. It's the only explanation that I can think of."
It seems very telling that Cyrus would admit aloud that Yaeger is capable of "moments of evil" yet he doesn't halt the experiment.

So, we learn that Cyrus, Sabrina, Roger, Liz, Bruno and Angelique participated in the original seance.  I'm not sure I understand the significance of leaving an empty chair for Quentin; was he originally a participant, and if Angelique "knew that Quentin hated her interest in the occult," why was there a chair for him at all?

ECS to Q: "Maybe that's why life is so difficult-- we don't know what our responsibilities are."   Cryptic but it sounds significant.

Unfortunately, that moment is immortalized in the blooper set because a camera came into view.  Not to be outdone, the boom mic also makes a couple of appearances in the ep, most notably (?) above the seance.

And speaking of sisters, did Quentin call Elizabeth his sister?  That would make everything very simple genealogically, although it would suggest that Quentin is older than Roger, which I find hard to swallow.  And anyway, I just don't see this Quentin and this Elizabeth as brother and sister.

I'm not sure they are either.  When Quentin first brought Maggie home, he introduced his bride to Liz saying, "This is my cousin, Elizabeth Stoddard."  He did call her sister in this ep, but he seemed to stammer a little, so maybe Selby misspoke.

And why was she all in black?

I am curious to know how Cyrus is able to afford a giant diamond for his fiancee and three-piece suits for himself.

Angelique was a very generous benefactor?

Why would Sabrina all of sudden, go back to the months before.

It would seem like she would want to go back to where she was happy.

I think they were going for the idea that Sabrina's subconscious repressed the memory of what happened at the seance until the new trauma brought it to her conscious mind.  Or something.

Yet it seemed sloppy that it wasn't Yaeger's attack that made her regress 6 months, but the dream she had afterward of the attack.
