Yeah, well - considering that they've already turned Maggie into a Vicki clone by this point in the storylines, that's not too surprising, and probably very intentional on their part. Heaven forbid that Maggie should have been allowed to bring her own personality and style to her job as governess. ::) What's probably surprising is that she didn't just show up one day with long, dark hair without any explanation at all. [lghy]

You know, I thought the same thing!  If the show had continued, wonder if Maggie would've returned from Windcliff cured, only to be possessed by the ghost of Vicki?  ::)

Too bad (after Lady Kitty) Maggie got got duller and
always the victim! waste of talent IMHO

How true.  How much more interesting it would've been if they would've left some of that edge in Maggie when she became the governess.  (I liked it when you faintly saw that spark when she ragged on Michael.)  I don't mean the blonde-wig, Eve-Arden, you're-a-jerk in the first few episodes Maggie.  But just how she remained more tough in the first season, ala when she forced her father to come clean on the car accident.  Maggie with a touch of Patti and Selma (Marge Simpson's sisters) would have made for a great character.

so true i would have liked to see her kick Bruno's and that Sherriff's butt Emma Peel style today!!!(i loved The AVENGERS
because of the women who didn't take it!) ;D
