I just went there and it is working fine.  It could be you went there when 1) Stuart was working on the page 2) the server was temporially down.  These 2 events will often occur causing a page to no longer be visable.

Hopefully, you should be able to see it now.

Thanks for answering this, vw. [thumb] It's nice to know we have someone else on the forum who can fill in if we haven't gotten the chance to answer questions of this sort. ;)

But BTW, Stuart's site is offline as I type this. Hopefully it's nothing more than for an upgrade or server maintenance. But if it is for anything more serious, I'm sure Stuart will stop by and inform us once he gets a chance...

Actually, it appears the site is only down via the www.darkshadows.co.uk URL.

It's still accessible via www.collinwood.net  :)

If I remember correctly and, it was quite a while ago. that he was dropping the uk site due to space and moving over to the Collinwood.net one.

That would certainly be an excellent reason why. Maintaining one site is a handful on its own, never mind a mirror site too.

Interestingly, though, I did a search through Stuart's past posts (the forum's Search feature comes in VERY handy), and the only mention of anything related to this topic was a post from May 20, 2002 in which Stuart explained that DSJO had moved to collinwood.net but would still be available through darkshadows.co.uk. No post saying darkshadows.co.uk had been dropped. And Stuart still has the link to darkshadows.co.uk on the DSJO homepage (though that could simply be an oversight - it can be very easy to forget to remove something like that when you have 101 other things about your site on your mind ;)).

A Big THank you to all who answered this question. I was accessing through the UK URL and the collinwood.net worked just fine.
 :) Thanks again

Thanks for pointing that out...

Basically, www.darkshadows.co.uk was bought when I was still running the site off of ISP freespace - I eventually had to buy a domain because I was using too much bandwidth, at which point the entire site was moved to http://www.collinwood.net, which I've promoted as the primary URL ever since.

At the moment, I've lost the ds.co.uk URL, and I'm not too sure about renewing it - but either way, the site will always be accessable at http://www.collinwood.net, so point your browsers there.

The site looks wonderful Stuart.  Along with MsCriseyde's Selby page, the DS Journal online ranks among the very best DS fan sites online. :)
