Dating
« on: June 10, 2003, 08:16:27 PM »
On stats...it says I've posted 5 things today.

I believe with this (what I'm typing now) is my 3rd, BUT, how does the dating go?

Is it like curing (exists within a 24 hour/period)?

I wasn't on this a.m. & I think I only posted to Arashi on MM and Confused by Men on current talk.

Let me know (yeah...in your spare time!!) :P

Thanks,

Patti

Yes, it's a 24 hour period, but it's 24 hours in forum time (which is set to GMT). not your own. The forum is counting the 3 posts you made yesterday after 8pm your time as well as the 3 you've made so far today, so that's why it currently says that you've made 6 posts today.

Disregard this message, cuz MB and I were doing that same-thing-at-the-same-time thing again. ;)

What a surprise, huh? :D But you could have left your answer because you'd mentioned something I didn't even think to: how the forum time is displayed in everyone's profile. ;)

Oh, good. This thread is about timestamps on posts. I was afraid MB was going to start his own version of Match.com right here on the boards.

Hmmm - now there's an idea...

I can just see a possible listing:

Tall, dark (but also short and hairy on certain days of the month) male seeks female, preferably with LONG LASHES, whom he can mold into his ideal woman as if she'd barely had any life experience on her own.

And, of course, such hobbies as:

Time travelling, dispensing sedatives, grave robbing, practicing witchcraft, creating artificial life, obsessing over lost love, creating a master race to take over the world, drinking brandy (and almost anything else), holding seances, obsession for luring ones children into the flames, burying people in unmarked graves in the woods, placing curses, etc.

would have to be available for people to choose from in their bios. [wink2]

Oh, I can't believe you said that, cuz now you know there's going to be a backlash.

You forgot the long walks on the beach.

There's always "enjoys long walks on the beach"  8)

Look, MB, you, like all the rest of us, have to settle...you CAN'T have TLATKLS AND Dr. Hoffman AND Angelique AND HAA?? AND Laura AND most of the ENTIRE Collins' Family!!!

;D Sorry dude....settle like the rest of us...say like (ooh, I'd better shut up now!! :-X :-X )

Well, so long as it reads "enjoys long walks on the beach searching for missing pens". [wink2]

How quickly you forget the missing pen and how practically everyone in Collinsport was looking for it at one point, but Vicki discovered it while walking on the beach below Widows' Hill (in filmed footage shot on location no less).  [sadg]

Was Willie Loomis walking on that beach with Vicki?  No?  Then why the hell would I remember it?!  [sure]
