And the worst was still yet to come at this point. But as I recently mentioned in another topic, the writers didn't believe in what they were doing when they were writing much of Leviathans - particularly this final third. And I would think it's extremely hard to write something that's compelling, as it otherwise might be, when you have no faith in it. Especially when you have someone like DC holding over your head that you can be replaced if you don't want to write the show the way he wants it written.
