Yes, indeed - that was the milestone being commemorated.

As I'm sure many of you will remember only too well, it was majorly touch and go there for a while after VantageNet folded and we first switched to YaBB SP - mainly due to the facts that 1) I didn't know the first thing about Perl (the computer language that first system was written in), and 2) our host kept shutting us down for consuming too much bandwidth. It's almost a miracle that we lasted 100 days!

But the switch to new hosts, YaBB SE (written in PHP) and especially the switch to SMF have made the forum far more manageable and, we hope, enjoyable.
But, of course, nothing would be possible without all of you and your support (and your continued patience whenever we try to sort out the inevitable bugs
). Thanks for making these 2000 days of running this incarnation of the forum as enjoyable as they've been for us. And an even bigger thank you for your continued support - for nearly 9 years already! - of the forum in all its various incarnations. We could have never reached these milestones without all of you.
Here's to another 2000!
