Why didn't you include Tony Peterson?
No matter, I'm adding him to my list and tossing off Blackwood--psycho vigilantes are not to my taste and James Blair--who was a banker, not a lawyer.
My picks:
1. Tony Peterson: dedicated, intelligent, up for a challenge, not easily intimidated, and good looking to boot. He would be my first choice.
2. Richard Garner: would prefer pĬre to fils. If we could get the loyalty issues out of the way, he seemed quite competent, discreet, etc.
3. Frank Garner: if I couldn't get Richard, I'd settle for Frank
4. Evan Hanley: I share Edith's opinion of him; he's a shyster, but if desperate, I suppose he would do.
5. Charles Dawson: I would have to be in jail and unable to find any other attorneys.
You have to be kidding me--I would be better off representing myself:
