And it's nice to see that Marley Shelton and Martin Donovan will be sharing scenes together - most probably their first since the '04 DS pilot. I wonder if the subject of the pilot ever came up between them while shooting this? If so, it would interesting to know what they might have said...

Post by: Gerard on July 21, 2014, 12:50:13 AM: Of course, it appears that The Lottery, an apocalyptic drama, airs at the same time as Falling Skies and The Strain. Why not just put them all up the most successful cable apocalypse show, The Walking Dead (throw in Revolution, Defiance and Domination , The Last Ship all at the same time)? Heck, why not throw in some new series about meteors crashing into Earth or mutated ants-elephants wiping out the human race, all airing at the same time? Not everyone has that Tim Tebow or whatever it's called. to record them all and then spend a week trying to watch them.

It's cool, though, that Shelton and Donovan are getting to work together again. I wish I remembered any of their scenes from the DS pilot.

Matt Roush: I know, and it's only summer! (Although with cable replays and various On Demand and streaming options, at least you don't have to make all that many tough choices about what to skip.) But 10? Really? I'm impressed.
