With the end of Banshee on the horizon, fans of Antony Starr (and you know who you are) may want to check out his new upcoming CBS' Summer Mystery Thriller American Gothic (http://) (Sadly for you, though, he's not likely to be naked on CBS...)

(And if you're wondering why there isn't a description for Starr's character, that seems to be because they might be keeping details of that under wraps for now because none of the articles that I've come across about the show say who or what he'll be portraying - only that it's "a major role.")

It was announced today that American Gothic premieres June 22nd, though, oddly, no time was given. But I'm sure that will be revealed sooner rather than later...

While watching tonight's NCIS: New Orleans on my DVR, I just saw a promo for Antony Starr's American Gothic (and it's sort of ironic that it should have been shown during that show because NCIS: NOLA's Lucas Black starred in a different CBS show called American Gothic when he was a kid back in 1995).

The show looks like it's going to be quite interesting, and I tracked the same promo down online for other Starr fans who might want to check it out:

Watch the Trailer for American Gothic, the New CBS Show About Murder, Not the Painting That Already Exists (http://www.vulture.com/2016/04/watch-the-trailer-for-cbss-american-gothic.html#)

...a family as WASPy as it is evil. They all live in the mansion...

Sound like any other family we know - well, minus the supernatural...  [ghost_wink]

(It's also too bad that too many Web sites seem to think Starr's name in Anthony and not Antony. But then, being DS fans, we know only too well that such things are hardly anything new on the Internet.  [ghost_rolleyes])

American Gothic Review: CBS' Killer Drama Brings Cheap Chills to Summer (http://tvline.com/2016/06/10/american-gothic-review-cbs-serial-killer-drama-virginia-madsen/)

Considering they're recommending it, it sounds like this should be a hoot and a great guilty pleasure - especially the part about how:

Banshee‘s Antony Starr portrays prodigal son Garrett as if he’s taken a frying pan to the head seconds before every scene he’s in.

But we shall see...

And speaking of American Gothic, I was hoping Entertainment Weekly would put the article up on their Web site, but I haven't seen it so far, so I'll just say that in this week's issue AG is #6 in their SUMMER TV PREVIEW: The 10 Shows You Can't Miss!

Banshee‘s Antony Starr portrays prodigal son Garrett as if he’s taken a frying pan to the head seconds before every scene he’s in.

I didn't find his character to be that way at all - which was sort of a bit disappointing - but his character is certainly intriguing...
