Thank you all for your birthday greetings.

I had a wonderful day with friends and family.  Went to a casino and brought some of their money back home with me.  My lucky day I guess.

He was dressed very casually, sweater with buttons, which were buttoned and a casually shirt under that.  I think the sweater and trousers were gray.  I don't recall the color of the shirt.  Very muted colors.  He seemed shy, he didn't talk unless someone said something to him.  He just signed autographs.  He may have had something at a different time of the day when he talked but not when we were there.  He does have beautiful brown eyes.

Misty,

I saw Jonathan Frid at a personal appearance at a trade show in Minneapolis, probably during the last year of DS.  I was within four or five feet of him.  I thought he was better looking on television.  Really skinny then.  He was very gracious signing autographs.

Tiny Tim and Arnold the pig from Green Acres were also there.  Didn't bother to see them.  I mean I live in rural South Dakota, a pig is a pig.  Wasn't interested in Tiny Tim either.

I do not still have my autographed picture of him.  I have moved several times since then.  Don't recall what became of that.

Of course he was/is.

I know this is an old topic but I have not had access to a computer for several months.

I know what you mean Rainey, "I know there is a book in me if I could just find it."

I also agree that the 1967 Barnabas was the best.

Brings to mind something I read a while ago which said
"Now that I am old enough to do anything I want, I don't feel like it anymore."

I am with the rest of you.  I have never been drunk either.  I was a teenager in the fifties.  I was raised by my grandmother and didn't have a playroom.  Had a very nice bedroom of my own.  I was a quiet teenager and a bookworm, still am a bookworm.

Someone already mentioned Alfred Hitchcock, I was thinking him gueststaring as T. Elliots Stokes eccentric uncle.  "Good evening!"

How about Bela Lugosi, he would give Barnabas a run for his money.  Another cousin from England perhaps.

I was thinking the same thing about Julia's green suit.  I would have immediately wanted a shower and something fresh to wear.  Wonder what they did about clean underwear?

Doesn't Barnabas have on a different suit before we see Julia in anything different?

Can you imagine how wool must smell by now.

My two cents worth.

I guess by 1995 people were wearing whatever they choose.  I think Carolyn has lead a very sheltered life, she doesn't appear to me in her mental state to be the kind to go shopping.

I don't think she even wore macrame or crochet in the 1970 storyline.

Can't you just picture her in Wal-Mart dressed like that.

Frid does a superb job with the wide range of personalities that Barnabas has in this whole DS series.

And another thing that comes to mind, where is Barnabas feeding?  No indication of that here either.  Must be getting a bit thirsty.
