He had some of them PIMPing in the aisles, or rather, the witness stand.

AND he had some PIMPING threads!  That purple outfit he had was to DIE for!   ^-^

Well, Quentin might have had a very long wait for that to happen because women weren't allowed on juries in 1897.  ;)

Wow - that never even occurred to me.  [knockwood]
So much for Quentin and women jurors.

Speaking of the tribunal in 1840....what a bunch of inept, incompetent, sickening fools.  I get worked up just thinking about it.

You know what gets me worked up?  The fact that after the Salem witch trials, in the 1600's, they didn't allow witchcraft trials anymore in the US!  So not only is the 1840 trial completely un-Constitutional, but the one in 1795 is as well!   >:(

I agree with you on the history BuzzH, They should have made them a more private affair rather then public. Sort of clandestine trails that couldn't be public because they were against the law, but that the people involved in thought needed to be held, because they really believed these people were witches.

Or else they should have said that the accused was responsible, but still how could they have held the trials and proven that the accused were quilty if they couldn't bring up witchcraft?

If they are ever able to redo Dark Shadows I hope they fix some of the history problems.

The Rev. Gregory Trask, because he was so "blessed" with that seemingly once-in-a-liftime combination of prevarication, blarney, gall, duplicity, and just good, old "bovine excrement," that he would have made an excellent and valued member of the so-called "Dream Team" for one, Orenthal James Simpson!

To quote the Rev. Gregory Trask, Esq. (now a prosecutor), "Speaking strictly, 'reverend to reverend,' Miss Victoria Winters is the witch!" >:D

That bit during the trial about laws of the colonies superceding those of 1840, bcause they came first, was awfully screwed up as well.   Though, I enjoyed the fact that they got right the fact that Maine had only been its own state, separate from Massachussets, for 20 years.  Maine became a state in 1820.

Actually, the way it was put seems to make plausible sense.

From today's slideshow:

Ep #1162 - Quentin is charged with witchcraft under law 119, dated the 23rd of April,
1696, which the articles of Maine's statehood specify the state keep even though it
was a part of Massachusetts at the time.
Though I have absolutely no idea if it's actually correct legally speaking.  [santa_wink]
